Edward Gregson’s new piece for solo oboe, A Song for Tony, is to be premiered by Richard Simpson (former principal oboe with the BBC Symphony Orchestra) at a concert to celebrate the life and work of composer Anthony (Tony) Gilbert, on 13 April, 2024.

Edward Gregson will be travelling to Palanga, Lithuania, at the beginning of May to participate in the European Brass Band Festival. He will be a member of the jury for the European Composer’s Competition to be held on the evening of 2 May 2024 in the Concert Hall, Palanga.
