Edward Gregson continues his 70th birthday celebrations with a number of adjudicating roles. On 15 April he will chair the jury for the BBC Radio 2 Young Brass Award 2016, to be held at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, and broadcast live on the BBC’s Radio 2 national station. Then, on 19 April, he will also chair the jury for the English Schools’ Orchestra Composing Competition, the final of which will be held at London’s Goldsmiths College. The concert will be given by the English Young Artists’ Sinfonia, conducted by Robert Pepper.
April will certainly be a very busy month for the composer, with concerts featuring his works being performed in Norway and France, as well as here in the UK (see links below).
