Listen: Fanfare for Europe

This short fanfare was commissioned for two gala concerts in 1973, held to celebrate Britain's entry into Europe. To the large brass forces I have added organ and percussion. The music is both homophonic and contrapuntal and is suitably celebratory in mood.
